The double breath (Physiological Sigh) is a powerful mindfulness technique that involves two key steps.
-Inhale fully through the nose
-Inhale a second time, filling your lungs to capacity
-Exhale slowly through the mouth.
Taking two full inhales before you exhale activates the parasympathetic nervous system, signals your body to relax, and reduces anxiety.
This controlled double inhalation followed by long exhalation lowers heart rate, calms the mind, and relieves stress in just 60 seconds. It's a portable way to press pause on your day whenever you need.
