Take a walk with me on the Shark River Inlet (Belmar NJ). End of February rain and cold temperatures keep the tourists away but only temporarily. As temperatures warm up, the fishermen come out and an available spot on the rock jetty will be actively pursued. The north end is a bridge between Belmar and Avon by the Sea and the Belmar fishing pier. The views of the beach and ocean are very nice and on sunny days offer the perfect touristy experience. In terms of COVID19 safety, some people wear masks. If you are alert while walking then you can social distance.
