Dreaming About The Law: Pakistani, South Asian & The International Legal Context.

Mian Raza Rabbani shared his thoughts on the above-mentioned topic during a conference held on 'Law, Judicial Interventions, Social Change & Labor Laws' by 'Rasheed Razvi Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights' on 22nd September, 2019.

Mr. Raza Rabbani is a senior, eminent Pakistani politician known for his services for the supremacy of constitution, law & parliament. He remained the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, the parliamentary upper house, from March 2015 to March 2018.

In this speech he mainly spoke about the constitution & the infringements of the constitution of Pakistan. Particularly, the suspension, abrogation & setting aside the constitution as a part of the atrocities made by the military dictators of Pakistan. Senator Raza Rabbani also raised the question about the hybrid governance of Pakistan & the institution which, unfortunately, weaken the country's democracy & reputation in the international committee of nation's.

Mr. Raza Rabbani has been awarded Nishan-e-Imtiaz for his parliamentary services. He has the honor to remain a senator for the six times in the Senate of Pakistan. For sure, he is an asset of the nation.
