Long endurance is another advantage for armed patrol, so this comes top of the list for this kind of aircraft. Hürkuş Test Pilot Murat Özpala wrote that he had completed a 75-minute-long flight test with 600 pounds of fuel on board and a 1-ton external load. He added that it is impossible even to take off with F-16 with this fuel.
