Deep archaeological excavations are labor intensive and expensive to conduct. Proposed is a mechanized method for deep archaeological testing. The PaleoDigger machine has the potential to significantly reduce the cost of deep testing and greatly increase our chances of finding deeply buried Paleoindian sites.
