Garrett Nussmeier finally addressed the mystery.
After battling an undisclosed injury for most of the 2025 season, the former LSU quarterback opened up at the NFL Scouting Combine about what really happened — and when it happened. Nussmeier revealed the injury occurred on Day Two of fall camp, so we went back to the practice reports and what Brian Kelly said at the time to piece together the timeline.
The new details help… but they don’t answer everything.
