Israeli president Moshe Katsav called on Thursday for Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to condemn the terror attacks against Israel and to stop sending conflicting messages to the international committee.

Katsav says that on the one hand Arafat declares he wants peace with Israel, but on the other hand he pushes the Palestinians people to kill innocent Israeli people.

Katsav also called the international community to express their determination against the Palestinian terror at tacks against Israel.

Visiting the family of Tzahi Sasson, who was killed by Palestinians gunmen in a road leading to Jerusalem, Katsav said that even though the international committee is condemning the terror attacks from time to time, it is not enough and it is too late.

Meanwhile, in the West bank city of Ramallah, a UN investigation committee continued its mission by conducting a meeting with the Palestinians minister of Labor, Rafik Natche.

The committee discussed with Natche the reported Israeli violations against Palestinians workers in Israel.

Since the eruption of the Palestinians Intifada, Israel has banned more than 150,000 Palestinians from entering Israel to their jobs.

The committee, which Israel said they will not cooperate with, started their mission last week in Gaza and will continue their mission in the West Bank in the next coming weeks.

"We should stop any cooperation with Yasser Arafat unless he will express his determination against terrorist activity. That's the problem, Yasser Arafat, he spoke with the international community in double voice, he has double face. On one hand he says that he wants to peace the situation with Israeli authorities, on the other hand he pushed the Palestinian people to kill innocent people in the Israeli society. He could not continue the double standard, double voice towards the international community."

"We've been able to collect information from the Palestinian side very easily, but we're very worried about the failure of the Israeli government to cooperate. We have called on the Israeli government again to reconsider their position and assist us by providing evidence. That much is still before the Israeli government."
