Jeremy Soule's soundtrack for "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion", while way shorter than Skyrim's, it equally memorable and immersive in the city of Cyrodiil. The atmosphere that the music conveys is way different from Skyrim: it's filled with hope, marvel, novelty and majesty, in a way that fits with the brighter setting compared to the darker tone of Skyrim.
I did my own compilation of relaxing music from "Oblivion" in order to give the proper place to a large portion of earlier works from Jeremy Soule. While Skyrim's soundscape feels more grounded and intense, Oblivion's music tend to highlight the beauty of the region with ethereal atmospheres (like in "Peace of Akatosh" and "Auriel's Ascension") and peaceful melodies (like "King and Country" and "All's Well"), while living room also for more majestic tones (like "Wings of Kynareth" and "Minstrel's Lament"). Also the frequent use of chord instruments, like hammered dulcimer, in tracks like "Harvest Dawn", "Dusk at the Market" and "All's Well" contribute greatly to create a peaceful and medieval-like musical atmosphere.
