The Shah Deniz 2 project is one of the largest gas developments in the world. It includes 26 subsea wells, 500km of subsea pipelines and flowlines and a new bridge-linked double platform. It can provide the European markets with 16 billion cubic metres of gas per year. The first gas deliveries from the Shah Deniz 2 happened in June 2018.
