Part 1 of 3 of my expedition to the South Dorset Ridgeway, a 17 mile walk across the hills that lie between Dorchester and Weymouth, containing one of the greatest concentrations of Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age monuments anywhere in Britain.

In this part I walk from Osmington Mills to Bronkham Hill, starting with a quick pint at the Smuggler's Inn.
