The 2025 GWM Tank 700 Hi4-T is a bold and powerful plug-in hybrid SUV that combines advanced electrification with rugged off-road engineering. It is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine paired with a front-mounted electric motor, producing a total output of 385 kW (516 hp) and 800 Nm of torque. This setup is paired with an N-speed automatic transmission and a 37.1 kWh battery pack, delivering an electric-only driving range of around 90 km (WLTC). With fast charging capability, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 24 minutes, making it practical for both urban and long-distance use.

Beyond performance, the Tank 700 Hi4-T is engineered for serious off-road adventures. It features front, center, and rear locking differentials, an advanced double wishbone suspension with adjustable air suspension, and a wading depth of up to 970 mm. The vehicle also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, allowing it to power external appliances—useful for camping and outdoor activities. With dimensions of 5090 mm in length, 2061 mm in width, and 1952 mm in height, along with a 3-meter wheelbase, it offers a commanding road presence and excellent stability both on and off the trail.

Inside, the SUV provides a luxurious and high-tech cabin designed for comfort and sophistication. It comes equipped with a 16.2-inch central infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Passengers benefit from leather seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions, while rear occupants enjoy a dedicated 7-inch touchscreen for personalized control. Added features such as an active noise cancellation system and refined interior materials elevate the driving experience, making the Tank 700 Hi4-T a capable blend of rugged utility and modern luxury.
