From then to now… this story and I have both grown so much. Today, I’m stepping further into the world of Project Pulled Wings by going all the way back to where this story first began. I’m reading the back-of-the-book synopsis from the original version of this novel—an edition that’s no longer in print—and then sharing the completely rewritten synopsis that will shape Book 1 of this dark, ethereal horror fantasy.

Revisiting the old synopsis feels like opening a time capsule, but the rewrite reflects everything this project has grown into: deeper, stranger, more atmospheric, and far more aligned with the story I’ve always wanted it to be. Seeing the two versions side by side truly shows how much this world and its characters have evolved.
