Northwest Valley residents joined Maricopa County and City of Peoria officials to celebrate the opening of the new Deer Valley Road Bridge in the Northwest Valley.

 The 711-foot-long bridge spans across Agua Fria River at Deer Valley Road and 109th Avenue. Because it’s an all-weather crossing, the bridge will improve traffic flow during storms, give emergency vehicles a direct route to residents living in unincorporated Maricopa County and provide a shorter drive time for residents commuting to and from the City of Peoria.
