Hermit Crab Pools, Sponges, & Salt

The goal of this video is to (hopefully) inform you about hermit crab pools, sponges, and salt. Below I put some links to videos that have larger pools, as well as hermit safe sea salt and water to salt ratios. I tried to make this video simple and easy to understand. I hope you enjoy!

Instant Ocean (The one I use)
Coralife
Kent Marine
Red Sea
Seachem Marine
Tropic Marin

Water to Salt Ratios:
1 gallon of water to ½ cup of salt mix
½ gallon (which is 2 quarts) of water to ¼ cup salt mix
1 Pint (which is 2 cups) of water to 1 Tablespoon (which is 3 teaspoons) salt mix
1 cup of water to ½ Tablespoon (which is 1 and ½ teaspoon) of salt mix
