In this video, I explain how to get MORE views on YOUR YouTube channel through SUGGESTED views. You can start off by creating video of VALUE for your audience. Don't waste money on paid advertisements WITHOUT understanding the VALUE of your content and what it has to offer your audience!

I still consider myself a small YouTuber because although I've been uploading videos since 2011, I've only reached 1.3K subscribers in 2020 BECAUSE I wasn't listening to my audience. I decided to look back at my channel and spend time researching how the YouTube algorithm and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) actually works for Google Search and YouTube platform.

The short answer is, you need to PLACE yourself in a position where you WILL get discovered on YouTube! Many users upload video after video and continue to struggle because they aren't getting the results they want. As Sean Connell, Video Ranking Academy CEO, stated, "YouTube is a MARATHON, not a sprint." You have be CONSISTENT with your uploads and provide VALUE for your TARGET AUDIENCE.

In this video, I'll share my story on being a YouTube creator since 2011 and teach you informative strategies I learned from successful YouTubers on how to GROW and INCREASE your YouTube audience with TIME and PATIENCE.

There are YouTube creators that take off EXTREMELY FAST, while there are others who upload twice as many videos with an average audience. I wonder why that is?

The way I see it is, if you want to start a YouTube channel, you've got to WANT and OWN your channel! This means creating videos for YOUR community that BENEFITS and provides VALUE for that viewer! Your videos have to leave a valuable impact on your viewer in order for them to want more. Sure, you have friends that support you but the online community is MASSIVE! So take advantage of the YouTube platform and place yourself in a position to get SUGGESTED views from viewers AROUND THE GLOBE!

Before getting more views on YouTube, you must UNDERSTAND the social platforms ALGORITHM. The algorithm performs its best to make sure viewers are getting suggested video they WANT to watch. Strategies for getting video clicks include making a CATCHY and DIRECT TITLE for your video. In other word, what is your video about? Why should that potential viewer click and watch it?
Other tactics can include STRONG DESCRIPTIONS (like this one).
Tags will help the YouTube algorithm better understand where you want your video to be advertised on the platform. This goes along with placing yourself with suggested views.

Always make sure to keep your video AS LONG AS THEY NEED TO BE! If you're not interacting with your audience, then you''ll lose engagement, and YouTube will find another video to promote instead because the data shows your viewers don't seem interested in your video.
