This video has been in the making for several months as I meticulously
designed the pattern for this matching sweater and pants, embellished with a tapestry crochet floral design. ❀ In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet both the tapestry crochet sweater as well as the tapestry crochet pants. I will also walk you through some of the skills required for this tutorial, such as how to adjust the measurements to your own body type, how to complete the tapestry crochet stitch, how to add ribbing to the sweater, and how to add an elastic waistband to the pants. This tutorial is fairly beginner friendly, although it may lean more to the intermediate level in some portions. Yarn (sweater): I used about 6 skeins ( 2,130 yards) of white yarn for the base of the sweater, and about 1\2 a skein (177 yards) of dark blue yarn for the details.
Yarn (pants): I used another 6 or so skeins of white ( 2,130 yards) and 1/2 a skein of dark blue (177 yards)
I used the brand I Love This Yarn (an acrylic yarn) for both pieces
