Shawn Johnson & Jordyn Wieber. Footprints in the Sand.

Two amazing gymnasts, with both unexpected Olympic experiences. The year before the Olympics both of them grabbed the individual all around title at the World Championships. They were destined to win the all around gold medal at the 208 (Shawn) and the 2012 (Jordyn) Olympics. Shawn qualified to the all around competition and won a silver medal, but she was going for the gold. Jordyn however did not even make it to the all around competition due to the two gymnasts per country rule. Jordyn did get one gold medal during the team finals. Shawn was expected to walk away with a few gold medals, instead she walked away with one, on the balance beam. Both of these girls are amazing gymnasts, although Shawn is now retired, I can't wait to see what is going to happen in Jordyn's future.
