Here's what we have been up to this past month:

Mainline track laying on the western end of the layout. Double track mainline is complete up to the crossover at Divide.

Backdrop painting continues, I ran out of sky blue so back to Co-op to get some more made up. I opted to just use my spray gun this time with some diluted white primer to get the ombre effect. It looks OK from 3' back and was much easier than trying to do it with a brush. This is the way I will do the rest of the layout going forward.

CP Points East reverse loop representing Canmore, AB track laying is complete. Feeders dropped for all five tracks, all that is left is to run the DCC bus underneath each track and solder the feeders on. Tortoise switch machines are installed and I am now in the process of tuning them to get good operation.
