This is a very natural phenomenon. It is there to lubricate or to prevent from having a further infection. So it will be in a physiological way or a natural way. It could be excessive when your body is ready to get pregnant or when your ovulation happens. It is generally excessive than the regular day of the month.
So how do you differentiate these from a normal and abnormal discharge? An abnormal discharge will be associated with either too much excessive amount that you need to change when it will be associated with foul smell. There could be associated with a change in color of the discharge. Normally it is milkish or a clear watery in colour.
