I'm now on Discord at:   / discord  . Alrighty, today I’m going to go over saving you game data such as Highscores, names etc to the registry with PlayerPrefs. Saving stuff with PlayerPrefs is writing to the registry rather than a file on the computer. This video is kind of a continuation of the last Video. In order to save using players prefs you only need to make a few small changes to the script. I will be changing the script from that last video.


This video is making use of Game1 that we created earlier in the series    • Part-10 of Unity for Beginners - Making ou...  
I figured since we already had something to work with then just use that. But if you find it more confusing with all the extra code you see in there then let me know and I could make a simpler bare-bones version.


*** Just to note that there is almost always more than one way to do something in script. How I do it in this video is not the only way but for the beginner its just about right :)
