Responsibilities
================
1.Documentation: Writes specifications and documentation for the server-side features.
2.Systems analysis: Analyses the technology currently being used and develops plans and processes for improvement and expansion. The DevOps engineer provides support for urgent analytic needs.
3.Development: Develops, codes, builds, installs, configures, and maintains IT solutions.
4.Project planning: Participates in project planning meetings to share their knowledge of system options, risk, impact, and costs vs. benefits. In addition, DevOps engineers communicate operational requirements and development forecasts.
5.Testing: Tests code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline and minimize errors.
6.Maintenance and troubleshooting: Performs routine application maintenance to ensure the production environment runs smoothly. Develops maintenance requirements and procedures.

SKILLS
======
1.Coding and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting is essential. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or C# is beneficial too.
2.Automation Tools and CI/CD: Expertise in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI for automating the development pipeline. Understanding the concepts of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) is crucial.
3.Configuration Management: Mastery in tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for managing and provisioning infrastructure and configurations.
4.Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage and deploy applications.
5.Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
6.Monitoring and Logging: Skills in tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk to monitor system performance, log management, and troubleshooting.
