This elevator is located at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas TX. The car is original to 1922. Here are the words from the plaque in the video.
OUR ELEVATORS
Are sometimes slow occasionally fast and a little creaky, but like our hotel they are historic and we have preserved the original integrity of our elevators to reflect the character of our properties. Although unique in appearance and delivery they are regularly checked and maintained to ensure your safety. As you either zoom or creep up or down in our elevators, know that you're being transported with comfort and style in an elevator that was quite the luxurious commodity when it debuted in the early 1900's.

The maximum number of people allowed in each elevator is EIGHT for your safety and convenience.
This was filmed while I was staying in the hotel. It was a great hotel with a lot of historic detail. The building has quite a history too I will detail that in part 2.( I split them because I ran out of memory card.) The staff was great when I asked if it was all right to film they not only said yes but seemed rather enthusiastic about it.
