Haven of Hope International is a faith-based nonprofit focused on raising the standard of orphan care throughout the world. We do this by coming alongside and partnering with orphanage homes that we have vetted and qualify for our help. For the 153 million orphaned children, 99% will never be adopted, the orphanage is their last lifeline. These homes and the children they serve are who we help.

The Haven of Hope International Model of Care - From Surviving to Thriving for an Orphan Care Home

We provide financial support, proven strategic programs, training, coaching, and resource access to strengthen and empower the homes. The support enables them to move from barely surviving (providing children one meal a day and a bed) to a thriving self-sustaining home that rescues, restores, and equips the children it serves. The children are prepared to lead successful independent adult lives when they age out of the orphanage at 18 years of age.

Our definition of success for children served—healthy bodies through medical/dental, trauma, and nutrition care; English, technology, and life skills training; a high school diploma, an employable vocational skill or university degree; family and Christian values; and financial resources to pursue their dreams.

Currently, we actively assist and provide funding to meet the critical needs of 200+ children in five partner homes: Refugio de Esperanza in Bolivia; Watu Wa Maana and JEHO Safe Home in Kenya; Mantonyak Children’s Center in Tanzania; Refuge of Life, Peru.
