Along with UT Austin Undergraduate Studies Dean Brent Iverson, College of Liberal Arts professors Bethany Albertson and Sean Theriault have challenged their online Gov 310 class to get fit and learn a bit about the importance of clean water. To inspire the students, Albertson and Theriault invited two guests to address their class. First, Gilbert Tuhabonye, of the Gilbert Gazelle Foundation, has used to running to overcome the devastation caused by a civil war in his native Burundi. Second, Iram Leon, who is fighting and surviving his brain cancer diagnosis by a rigorous running regiment, was a recent winner of the Beaumont Marathon.
