Beautiful Reva Gap United States Forest Service campground was amazing. Free camping at its finest. To us, it was in the middle of nowhere, but they may be how most things are in S.D.
Reva Gap is free camping, and for the first time ever, they had a power pole with a sign that said free electricity for campers. We were so grateful because it was hot and we were very grateful to have the electricity to run the air conditioner. The added bonus was that this campground was next to the Pronghorn Experimental farm, and we were able to just drive a short way and see many pronghorn just running wild. This campground did get full while we were there, and there were quite a few ATV's running through. We were there on a Thurs. and we think people were just starting there weekend early, and even though we thought it was the middle of nowhere, it was about 30 min. away for Belle Fourche.
