How to Make an Envelope with a Window | to Display my Postcard Gift Set

When you want to show the content in the envelope, an envelope with a window is the answer! After searching shops and couldn't find an envelope that could display a bit of the content, I decided to make it myself. It started after I had printed my postcards of watercolor painting series Winter Flowers, and would like to give a set as a gift. I first used a regular envelop, but of course it covered everything! I wanted something pretty and exciting, and this envelope with transparent window is the the answer! I thought you might be interested to see the process of making an envelope that is open and covered with a transparent panel like this. This is also a great project to recycle or upcycle scrap plastic sheets! I use pieces that were leftover from laminating process, and for example plastic from old folders etc could certainly work too.

Supplies:
Suitable paper, suitable plastic sheet, suitable adhesive, crafting tools such as scissors, rulers, etc.
