How To Save And Organize Saved Instagram Posts

In this Quick Tech video, I’m going to show you how to save and organize Instagram posts, making it easy to revisit posts that you like in the future, or group images together for ideas.

For instance, I like to save Instagram posts from different filmmakers or photographers that show behind the scenes of lighting and other techniques to getting the shot. You could do this with a ton of things like gardens, home décor ideas, places you want to visit, and more.

To get started, find a post you want to save. This part is pretty straight forward. You tap the bookmark style save button here on the right.

Once you have a few posts saved, tap your profile icon on the bottom right.

Next, hit the three bars on the top right of the screen to drop down the menu.

In here, tap Saved.

If you haven’t organized any of your saved posts yet, you’ll have this All Posts collection.

In there you will find all of the Instagram posts that you’ve saved.

To group them, go back to the collections page and tap the plus sign on the top right.

Name your collection and hit Next.

Select all of the posts that fall under that Collection, and then tap Done at the top right.

You now have a new collection that has grouped all of the posts that you’ve chosen, and you still have the All Posts collection in case you want to go through everything at once.

You can go ahead and do that now with the rest of your saved posts if you want to.

If you want to delete a collection, head into the collection you want to delete, tap the three dots in the top right, and hit Delete.

And that’s how you save and organize Instagram posts.
