Hello Everyone, In this short video a friend and I head East to Breezewood PA, where we pick up the Pike 2 Bike Trail. The route is an 8 mile stretch of abandoned PA Turnpike, shut down in the 70's, there are still 2 huge tunnels left for nature to recover. This stretch of Trail is just off of Bike Route S, and this route is included in The Race Across PA, from Pittsburgh, To Philadelphia.

The Specialized Epic Hardtail was no match for some classic bumpy roads of the forgotten turnpike. The Route is a bit on the rougher side, but we saw lots of people walking and riding, its a completely safe place to go for a walk or ride.
