I describe the polka beat here and how to play it on the piano. I pull out my accordion and do a short demonstration on that if you want more teaching on the accordion leave a comment. I also explain how the polka beat is essentially the same beat as a Jewish folk songs, some Broadway songs (there’s no business like Show Business), and some worship songs like the joy of the Lord is my strength (that’s a very old worship song from the 60s or 70s) i’m still taking requests . So just keep sending your requests and if you want to expound a little like “I would like some instruction on this song or just say you would like to hear me play it” either way is fine.
