Working dog temperament test (WAE) with judge John Schoeneman.
April 28 2017, United Doberman Club (UDC) Nationals, Sedalia, MO.

The Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE) has been designed as a tool to assist breeders and prospective owners in producing and obtaining Dobermans having temperament as defined by breed Standard. The evaluation has five categories in which the dog's responses to the stimuli are assessed according of degree of approach behavior or avoidance behavior. The doberman must exhibit approach behavior or appropriate behavior for the breed on all exercises in order to receive the WAE.

My dog scored high in every category, exhibiting "strong" and "very strong" approach behavior, with little or no encouragement. He presented himself as bold, confident, and egoistical (as described in his evaluation) and successfully passed the test.
