Bigger than us - Jakeward

Storyline: Jake senses something odd in Reneesme which makes him doubt the imprint; so when Bella manhandles him, he reacts strongly and tells her a thing or two before leaving Forks behind. He makes a life for himself driving racing cars, but one day he returns to First Beach and then goes to a game where Edward begs his help in the upcoming confrontation with the Volturi.

Meanwhile, Edward has begun to doubt Bella's fidelity. He can't break her shield, though, so he remains unsure. Jacob duly helps them in the battle where Edward reads the mind of a Volturi guard and realizes the bitter truth: Bella has been playing him for a fool all along and Reneesme is not his daughter. Enraged, he kills the guard and then, under the pretext of saving Bella, hurls her instead toward the abyss where she dies a fiery death.
Edward confesses his feelings for the Quileute and they drive home, having survived battles and betrayals.
