1200 ml santan kental dari 3 butir kelapa (6 cups of coconut milk from 3 coconuts)
1/2 bh kelapa sangrai (half a coconut, grated and caramelized)

bumbu halus: (blended ingredients)
250 gr cabai merah kriting (10 oz of red chili)
50 gr cabai rawit (2 oz of Thai chili)
1 sdm ketumbar (1 tbsp of coriander)
2 sdt lada (2 tsp of pepper)
1 sdt jinten (1 tsp of white cumin)
1 sdt adas manis (1 tsp of brown cumin)
3 bh bunga lawang (3 star anises)
5 bh kapulaga (5 cardamoms)
5 bh cengkeh (5 cloves)
1 ruas jari kayu manis (1 tsp of cinnamon)
7 btr kemiri (7 candlenuts)
7 siung bawang putih (7 cloves of garlic)
7 siung bawang merah (7 bulbs of shallot)

3 sdm bumbu dasar putih (3 tbsp of white curry solution)
3 siung bawang putih (3 cloves of garlic)
3 siung bawang merah (3 bulbs of shallot)
3 btr kemiri (3 candlenuts)
1/2 sdt lada (1/2 tsp of pepper)
1 sdm ketumbar bubuk (1 tbsp of coriander powder)
1 ruas jari jahe (a dice of ginger)
1 ibu jari asam Jawa (1 tbsp of tamarind)

1000 ml air kelapa (4 cups of coconut water)
7 btr kemiri (7 candlenuts)
5 siung bawang putih (5 cloves of garlic)
5 siung bawang merah (5 bulbs of shallot)
1/2 ibu jari jahe (a dice of ginger)
3 ibu jari lengkuas (3 tbsp of galangal)
1/4 bh pala (a quarter of nutmeg)
