The purpose of this app is to allow you to very easily and quickly do your billing from within Medisoft Mobile on an iPhone, iPad or iTouch.

When you log in to Medisoft mobile you are going to be brought to a schedule screen that is used as a work list to drive the entry of your charges and diagnosis codes into Medisoft.

If you click on a patient from the schedule you will see information pop up on the left side of the screen:
Patient Name:
Copay Amount:
Guarantor Balance (which is the family balance)
The Primary Insurance Carrier
Referring Provider (and if you're on the iphone it will actually let you call them)
Reason for appointment
And Any Notes attached to the appointment

When you tap Enter Charges you are brought to an electronic superbill.- Where you can easily enter charges just like you would on paper. You simply tap on things like Office Visit, Diagnosis, and Discharge Instructions. And then click submit.

You are then brought back to the schedule screen and that patient now has a green check mark showing that charges were submitted for him.

Now if you go into Medisoft into the unprocessed transactions screen you'll immediately see charges waiting for the biller.

When reviewing charges the biller can double check the diagnosis codes, change modifiers or units if needed. Once they have approved those transactions they click post and the transaction is now in transaction entry and ready to go on a claim.

Billers no longer have to waste time typing in all the information on the stack of superbills they get from the doctor. AND they no longer have to bother the doctor about any illegible handwriting.
