The Process Between a Honey Badger and a Python

Encounter
When a honey badger encounters a python, it usually does not run away. Honey badgers are known for being fearless.
Python’s Attack
The python tries to coil around the honey badger and constrict it to stop breathing. This is how pythons normally kill prey.
Honey Badger’s Defense
The honey badger has thick, loose skin, which makes it hard for the python to get a tight grip.
It uses strong jaws and sharp teeth to bite the python repeatedly.
Counter-Attack
The honey badger often targets the head or neck of the python.
It keeps biting until the python becomes weak or retreats.
Outcome
In many cases, the honey badger survives and may even kill and eat the python, especially if the snake is not very large
