I decided to make an updated video of my National 48" industrial ceiling fan since the old bearings started to be noisy (as shown in this video:    • Bearing Noise on my National 48" Industria...  ) and they were replaced to the new fresh ones around almost 3 years ago. It was unused for around 2 years right after I replaced the bearings (with the help of TFU, also thanks to teltras68!) because I was utilizing my two KDK WZ48Qs in this area (combined with some of my other fans too that were also installed here). Right after I'm taking down the Mistral ceiling fan, I just remembered that I still have this fan being stored, equipped with a lot of dust. So I decided to take it out of the fan storage area, clean it a little bit, install it, and here it is now!

This fan is my 3rd ceiling fan and my 2nd industrial ceiling fan I ever have, and I will never sell this fan because other than this is a very memorable childhood fan of mine (I used to found, see, and play with them in a few places when I was a child, especially the 56" ones which a lot more common back then), I had to take an extra effort in acquiring this fan. Lemme re-share the story to you about how I can get this fan in a such pristine unrestored condition (especially to those who are new to this channel).

Flashback to the Covid-19 era, precisely in early 2021, I was looking for a National industrial ceiling fan for sale at online shops (and that's right after my fellow fan lover, TFU, shared with us in the community that he's recently bought a used National F-EY149 ceiling fan. I suddenly remember my childhood memories when I used to see and play around with these Nationals afterwards. Therefore, I desperately also want one for myself), and I do find some of them are shown up for sale. But most of them don't suit my criteria, because some have been rusted, yellowed, and has faded logos, some have missing parts (like canopies, speed regulator, screws, etc) some are overpriced, and some are listed too far away from my location. One day after around 2 months of exploring the online shops, I finally found an ad that sells a National industrial ceiling fan with a quite pristine condition and it's intact with the original speed regulator and canopies, being up for sale at a good price! It was placed faarrr away from my location, but that doesn't stop me from following up on the ad considering how good the condition is! The only downside with it is it has faded National logos on the medallion/switch cap, upper canopy, and even on the speed regulator itself. The unit that's shown in the photo ad is the 56" version that I've been wanting for a very long time, and what's interesting is the fan that's shown in the photo ad is the unofficial version of the F-EY149 that's officially sold in Indonesia back then. It's the F-560B(M)!! When I contacted the seller, they confirmed to me that they have 3 units of National industrial ceiling fans for sale! (But eventually, the photo ad only shows one unit). That made me think the other 2 Nationals were also F-560B(M)s, so therefore, I asked the seller if I wanted to grab one with the most pristine condition among all 3 units. And you know what? The seller eventually sent me a photo of a pristine unit I requested before which made me a bit disappointed and very satisfied at the same time. What makes me disappointed is that the pristine unit turns out to be the locally made version (F-EY1_9 series), but that disappointment was forgiven by how fresh the condition is! I then informed the seller that I wanted to pick up the pristine unit for me and transferred my money to pay for the unit and the shipment that was too far away from my place. It took almost a month to get this fan to arrive at my place. But fortunately, my extra effort was fully worth it because right after it arrived at my place and unpacking it, it was indeed really really clean, shiny, and intact almost like new! And the aforementioned pristine unit is precisely the fan that you're now seeing in this video! Another thing that makes me satisfied is that I got the unit in the 48" size, a size that was quite uncommon back then!

After almost 4 years of ownership, it's still in the same condition as when I recently got it, even now it is in much better condition than before! Because now the bearings are new (as I mentioned before), and the blades are now much more stable than before. Those are the only restored things from this fan. The rest are still in an unrestored condition since it was new!
