I don't know anything about this artist. Billy Barnes had 4 singles on United Artists between 1958 and 1961, before switching to Liberty for one single and then Tahoe for one more. From what I've heard of his other recordings, he was more of an MOR pop singer, but then this surprise record came out of nowhere. While this was not a hit, it certainly sounds like it could've been. I hope you enjoy this one!
