This Allis Chalmers #3 Power Mower was purchased brand new in 1952 and in use until 1972. In 2022 I decided to try getting it going for trimming the sides of the driveway. Fortunately, I have the original owner’s manual. Searching online turned up very little information on the #3 Power Mower, so I decided to make this video of most, but not all, of the steps I took to resurrect it. I recorded most of the content in the summer of 2022. At the end there is a short clip of mowing in 2024. This mower has a lot of worn parts that would need to be replaced for heavier use.
