“Figures in a Landscape” is a duet for marimba and flute. The piece is a very advanced and complex piece that goes beyond traditional Western tonalities and phrasing, and is very challenging for the two players.

"Figures in a Landscape" riunisce una marimba e un flauto in un brano particolarmente complesso, come un vero duo, sfidando entrambi i musicisti a suonare melodie che va oltre le tonalità e i fraseggi tradizionali occidentali.

マリンバとフルートのための二重奏曲

●Composer (作曲家)： Peter Klatzow (1945-2021)

【English】
He is one of the few internationally recognized composers from South Africa. His works have been performed all over the world, from Africa to Europe, and even in the United States and Asia. And he has received numerous awards and honors for his wonderful works and achievements. Sadly, however, leaving behind all those brilliant accomplishments, he passed away at the age of 76, just four months before our performance. We pray for his soul rest in peace.

È uno dei pochi compositori nati in Sudafrica ad avere una reputazione internazionale. I suoi brani sono stati eseguiti in tutto il mondo, dall'Africa all'Europa, dall'America all'Asia.
Ha ricevuto numerosi premi e onorificenze per la bellezza dei suoi brani e delle sue realizzazioni.
Purtroppo è morto all'età di 76 anni, solo quattro mesi prima della nostra esibizione, lasciando dietro di sé i suoi brillanti successi. Preghiamo perché la sua anima riposi in pace.

彼は南アフリカ出身で国際的な評価を得ている数少ない作曲家の一人である。彼の作品はアフリカからヨーロッパ、さらにはアメリカやアジアなど、世界中で演奏されており、その美しい作品と功績が認められ、数々の賞を受賞しています。
残念ながら、その輝かしい業績を残したまま、私たちの公演のわずか4カ月前に76歳で彼はこの世を去りました。
ご冥福をお祈りいたします。
