Episode 2: Lost Worlds: Queimada Grande - Island of Snakes
The tiny South Atlantic outcrop of Queimada Grande is a true "Lost World," isolated from all other nature. Devoid of mammals, this island is home to the Golden Lancehead, a snake that has evolved the most powerful venom of any in the Americas to hunt birds. Reptile hunter and scientist Mark O'Shea bravely battles his way onto this impregnable island, only to face a deadly snake every ten paces.
