Описание к видео Starfield 2025 - Added a location to the Serpentis system

Since I spend so much time farming ship captures in the Serpentis system, a persistent location there seems useful and there are no locations in that system already that I could leverage. In the process of creating and installing the new levitating five landing pads with a sub-structure, I had to move it around a bit, make adjustments, go there check it out and tweak it some more, which then broke the location for my level 38 character. Crashes straight to desktop, even if I go back to a save file before ever going to the location. No big deal, I don't have to go there on that character now that I have it setup. That character can go there on next NG+.

To confirm it was OK now I just got on one of my other characters that was a fresh NG+ and waiting to be played. Since I already have a video showing the process of starting out, this video begins with dropping off a captured ship. The Character had just acquired her ship, gear, equipment and this location was her indented stop starting from Argos Extractors, then the Copernicus POI and then on to this location in the Serpentis system. Basically it is a floating set of landing pads, all pads are active and can be used for either a placed ship or just take off and landing.

It was a concern of mine that adding terrain clips would mean refreshing the terrain export of all locations followed by a re-archive and I just didn't want to risk that breaking and all location be seriously hosed. Since a location is different for each character, which means the surface is uniquely generated for each one and not all that predictable. Floating the POI above everything solves the problem of dynamically generated terrain for each character and no terrain clip used with which to make it all the same. Just float it all in the air above the likely height of the terrain. This gives me a place to drop captured ship and chill, that is not accessible by bounty hunters and random hostile NPCs. Just something I wanted to try to see if the concept of a floating poi, like a floating city or facility, would work out and be practical or turn out problematic. So far it seems alright to me.

I will add some lights and maybe a few unique decor items to make the location somewhat unique; but basically this is now a drop in pack-in all ready to place where ever I can claim and lock an area on a planets somewhere.
