India’s First Bullet Train Station 100ft Below Ground! | Bandra Kurla Complex | Latest Progress 2025 🚄 Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Latest Update 2025!
Nearly 76% of excavation work is done at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) underground station – the only underground stop on India’s first High-Speed Rail Corridor.

📌 Highlights:

Excavation completed: 14.2 lakh cubic metres out of 18.7 lakh

Station depth: 26 metres (100 feet, equal to 10-storey building)

6 Platforms (415m long for 16-coach bullet trains)

3 Levels – Platform, Concourse & Service Floor

Direct Metro Line 2B connectivity + Road access

Completion target: End of 2028


Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared – “Mumbai’s Bullet Train Station is taking shape 100 feet below ground!”
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis confirmed the project will be ready by 2028.
