So the surface blazes bright masking the shadows below seems to really be referring to Beledar and the dark cycle. The king of diamonds being made a pawn is almost certainly Magni very likely being manipulated by Xal'atath. 5 keys to open our way is us getting the 5 artifacts to defeat Sargeras. We stopped Sargeras the main enemy of the void therefore opening the way for the void to focus all their efforts on invading us.

Now I know these whispers didn't have any meaning originally but we also know that originally Xal'atath was just a dagger with some flavor text that is now a mega villain. It's so obvious Blizzard is picking back up where they left of in Legion and it looks like they may be filling in the gaps with the Old God whispers they left back in Legion all these years later. So let's examine how they predict the War Within.
