Alternator damaged by oil leaking from dipstick not reinstalled at oil change. When filling with oil oil will leak from the dipstick hole contaminating the alternator and causing failure. Also leaving the dipstick out will allow the oil to leak out onto the alternator while driving causing alternator failure.
