WOOOT I can upload DS videos again.

I've found a new method of good recording WITHOUT DV TAPES & Firewire cables!! No I'm not using a Capture Device yet like you see on major gaming sites (but I wish I had a friend that can make those homebrew ones for me).

I used the similar setup from my DS filming tips video and this time I connected the Multi AV cable from the camera to the RGB Scart lead into a Scart Splitter. Then into a VHS recorder which is then connected to the DVD Recorder (An HDD DVD Recorder).

Then I use a DVD-RW to put the run in and then use Anri-Chan to rip it.

Then I have to edit the screens (for YOUTUBE viewing Purposes) by first compressing the video (Windows Movie Maker) then edit it on Sony Vegas, save it and compress again to upload the edited video quickly.

The quality is lower than I thought because the first compression used low memory (18MBish) I'll try and make it 50MB next time.

To SDA viewers:

I've still got the RAW videos in my DVD recorder's harddrive and I'll probably send a DVD-R to Nate when it's finished.

Don't expect Segment 2 to be up tomorrow or Monday I've got 3 Castlevania games to complete (got them as a Christmas present) and a Gameboy player.

and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin (Found it for £8 in a Zavvi store, NOT pre-owned)

Nate likes my samples of the run so I'll won't upload the new segments on here until the run is SDA published :)

Update:
I re did Segment 1 and saved 2 seconds. It will be posted onto Youtube along with the other segments.
