"Why This Kolaveri Di", composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Dhanush, has taken the Indian music scene by storm with its energetic and unique sound, bringing a taste of Tanglish to the mainstream. Artists around the world have been inspired to create remixes of the track, but none quite compare to the cover produced by Bups Saggu.

Bups Saggu set out to create a track that pays homage to the original "Why This Kolaveri Di" while infusing aspects of both artists' musical personalities. Bups Saggu released his solo debut album, "Redefined", in 2011 which included worldwide smash hits "Photo Rakh Ke" ft. Miss Pooja and "Matha Tekhiya" ft. Lehmber Hussainpuri. His captivating melodies and upbeat rhythms combined with emotional and meaningful lyrics show this innovative producer's musical talent.

Bups Saggu has successfully created a cover of "Why This Kolaveri Di" that entwines Punjabi lyrics with the Tanglish of the original track, providing a fresh take on an already sensational song. Bups Saggu explains that "it was a spontaneous idea. I was listening to the song and I loved it but could also imagine a version with a Punjabi twist. Jati and I wrote and recorded the song as well as the video within three days." When asked about the video shoot, Jati Cheed tells us that "recording the song and shooting the video was a very organic experience, it was natural, and I think the video really shows that."
