You are cordially invited to Opulent Mobility, a group exhibit that re-imagines disability as opulent and I powerful!

I'm the founder A. Laura Brody, and this came to me after a former partner had a stroke. I was fascinated at adaptive devices that helped people help themselves, but horrified at their cold and clinical designs. After designing a beautiful failure of a chair, I invited others to join me in reimagining disability.

Now, when inclusion and diversity are being erased from public websites, Opulent Mobility offers accessibility, diversity, and empathy as seen through the lens of art. Joon us for our 10th anniversary retrospective at @brandlibrary In Glendale now through June 21st, 2025.
