Non-Skill Inheritance/Seals Challenge
This challenge calls for beating a Grand Hero Battle without inherited skills and the use of seals. The same also applies for Lv.40+ units.

Azura is here to use sing and for her Fortify Res skill. Fortify Res gives Ike more resistance so he doesn’t take too much damage from the Red Cavalier. Her sing also helps use take out the Troubadour and Red Cavalier. If we needed more attack than resistance, I’d swap her out for Olivia.

Ike is will kill every other unit but Camus here. He has enough speed to avoid getting doubled by the Red Cavalier and weaken it enough so the Troubadour uses Wing of mercy to block Camus. Ike has Aether, so he will recover enough HP to take hits from the two Axe Cavaliers on enemy phase. This is due to his Heavy Blade skill, which will give him access to Aether when he attacks the Troubadour. If he was using Luna instead, Mathew’s Reciprocal Aid would be more useful.

Nino is our Camus killer for this run. She has enough defense and resistance to Camus’s Gradivus to take a hit. She is boosted by Mathew’s Hone Spd skill, just in case Camus gets the Goad Cavalry boost (which would but him at 37 speed).

Mathew is here for his Hone Spd ability. His Reciprocal Aid doesn’t do much for Ike, but it’s mainly for safety just in case. His Hone Spd 3 benefits Ike and Nino, so they can double or not get doubled by their competition.

The strategy
Turn 1 and 2 – The first 2 turns are setting up the L formation so that Ike gets the Hone Spd and Fortify Res boosts. This formation also sets Azura up to block Camus and sing for Ike, so that Nino can move where Azura once was.

Turn 3 – Ike moves in range onto the bridge to lure out the Red Cavalier. Azura moves onto the bush tile for the next turn. Nino moves next to Azura, and Mathew moves next to Nino to boost her speed next turn. On the enemy phase, the Axe Cavalier will use Rally Defense on the other Axe Cavalier and the Red Cavalier will attack Ike. Ike will deal enough damage to the Red Cavalier to activate the Troubadour’s Wings of Mercy skill. The Troubadour will move right in front of Ike to heal the Red Cavalier, blocking Camus from finishing him. The other Axe Cavalier will move to use Rally Defense on Camus (which he should have done so the Troubadour wouldn’t have blocked Camus). Finally, Camus will move to the opposite side of the bridge to attack Ike.

Turn 4 – Ike kills the Troubadour and gets Aether. Azura moves up and uses sing on Ike. Ike kills the Red Cavalier and gets healed from Aether. Nino moves to the bush where Azura was to attack and kill Camus. Mathew moves behind Ike to use Reciprocal Aid on him. On enemy phase, the two Axe Cavaliers will die fighting Ike.

Overall, this challenge was interesting. My main means of defeating Camus did involve Nino, but I forgot about the Goad Cavalry boost from the Red Cavalier. Since Nino couldn’t one round him, this meant that she would die out there. So the strategy called for someone to boost her speed so she could get passed the Goad Cavalry boost. In the end, the Troubadour’s stupid AI saved the day. Had she not blocked Ike from Camus, the run would have been ended. So thank you dumb AI for your contributions.
