The"Toscan Sun" - ah the splendid weather in Toscany-a part of Italy, with old towns, buildings, vineyards, gorgeous landscapes...The song wants to bring you the flavor of that area. I have spent some time there, decades ago and the inspiration kind of meandered through all these years like those wonderful narrow roads in Toscany.
The song has this flavor of 1920's and 1930's the days that seem for us of eternal love.
