This 1940's AC mains powered clock was sent to me for conversion to mains. The clock was broken and the owner wanted freedom from the mains power lead. The solution was conversion of the clock to a modern, accurate QUARTZ movement powered by a AA battery. This was a tricky conversion due to the SMALL gap between the hands and the domed glass. I had to 3D print a 2mm spacer to force the gap between the glass and hands. The clock is re-assembled and looks just like it did 70 years ago - but now FREE from the mains power plug.
