The Nilachal Flyover at present is the longest road bridge of Assam State connection Maligaon with Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati city. The bridge length is 2.6 km with dimensions 4 lanes with a 2 land feeder road and width is 16.6 metres. The Nilachal bridge has been constructed with 18000 MT of cement, 20000 cubic metres of sand and 9930 MT structural steel amongst other material. The foundation of the flyover has 372 numbers of piles, 55 numbers of pile caps and 13 numbers of open foundations. This Nilachal Flyover was open to Public on 30.08.2023 at 5 P.M.
